I did my picutres on the roses my boyfriend bought me for our anniversary yesterday. They were just to pretty to not take pictures of. I like the ones of the vase on the floor because it made the pictures brighter. With this setting there is no flash so the pictures are dark. I don't think i have ever used this setting before, I don't dislike it, but i probably won't use it very often. I like the flash to make the pictures seem bright, I will probably use this setting when take close up pictures of Cooper so he doesn't look so pale white.

  1. I love your flowers :) But I defiently agree with you the no flash makes it hard to get a picture with proper lighting. I was wondering if you tried getting really close to the baby's breath if the macro setting would let you see the small bud or if it just looked like a white blur..?

  2. Mandy,
I also had the same problem with the setting. Most of my pictures were very dark and some did not even come out. The roses are beautiful and happy anniversary. Red roses are my favorite flower so I really love these photos.

  4. Happy Anniversary :) The roses look great. I noticed that some close up pictures I took on the macro setting came out dark, depending what type of natural light there was. I have never used that setting before so was a learning experience for me.

  5. I really like your collage. I like the mix of close-ups and different angles. I agree the roses against the wooden floor is a great contrast.

  7. This is a great collage of your anniversary roses. It has a "scrapbooking" effect to it!
